Ferbane/Banagher were crowned the Irish Farmers Journal Know Your Ag quiz champions on the opening night of the Macra Rally
THE finals of the Macra/Irish Farmers Journal Know Your Agriculture Quiz took place over the bank holiday weekend at the Limerick Rally with Ferbane/Banagher Macra taking home the top prize. They held off the challenge of Freemount Macra who finished second and Portlaoise who came in third.
The quiz consisted of six rounds of questions ranging from technical knowledge to farming news trivia. Macra National President Seán Finan, said, 'The Irish Farmers Journal Know Your Ag quiz, is a great test of our members' farming knowledge but it also promotes team spirit and healthy competition.
