A busy weekend of Community Games was had by all in Roscrea this weekend. On Saturday our two artists won bronze medals, Clodagh Kennedy in the Girls Under 10 and Aoibhe Matthews in the Girls Under 12.

Onto Sunday and the Munster Finals, where Roscrea won the Girls Under 12 7 a side by beating Bruff 2-1 whilst the Boys Under 11 mini rugby team beat Ahane 5-1. International rugby referee George Clancy presented the Murphy twins with the Men of the Match award.

Roscrea AC training is on Monday evenings from 7p.m. to 8p.m. in the CBS field for all aged 5 and up. Training on Wednesday from 7p.m. to 8p.m. is for competition ages only of 7 and up. Cost €2 each or €5 for a family. Please remember to bring a drink and warm clothing. New members are always welcome. Club phone (087) 3376251.


Dates For Your Diary

Area Athletics finals are on Wednesday 12th April at 6.00p.m. in CBS field with the Community Games County Final in Templemore on Sunday June 11th. The Co. Tipperary Athletics finals Under 12-19 on Saturday 6th May followed by Under 9-12 on Sunday 7th May, all in Templemore.
