FAIRIES gathered for A world record attempt at Bord na Móna's magical Fairy Festival in Lough Boora Discovery Park on Saturday last. The event, which set a new world record for the largest number of fairies in one location, attracted thousands for an action-packed family day out in the stunning surrounds of Lough Boora Discovery Park.
Over one thousand fairies of all ages gathered to make record breaking history on Saturday. 
Bord na Móna teamed up with The Irish Fairy Door Company for a third year for the hugely successful fairy festival with enchanting fairy tales, parachute games, giant bubbles, puppet shows and much more to entertain children and adults alike. Donations made on the day went to Barretstown children's charity.
