TIPPERARY Tourism is hosting a seminar on "Growing Tourism in Tipperary" on March 8 at the Anner Hotel in Thurles.

The briefing is being held as part of Local Enterprise Week and businesses from around the county with tourism interests are being invited to attend.

The briefing will allow businesses to hear from Tipperary Tourism about their plans for 2018 which include but are not limited to; working with Fáilte Ireland and Tourism Ireland to welcome high profile domestic and international media trips to the County; the development of a three year marketing plan including creating new content, video and articles; the further development of Tipperary Tourism's online presence; the continued marketing and promotion of Tipperary as part of Ireland's Ancient East as well as the Munster Vales and Lough Derg Lakelands destinations.

The event is an excellent opportunity to hear from Fáilte Ireland and their Head of Commercial Development, Paul Keeley who will offer "A Ten Year Perspective on Irish Tourism".
