Brady Helps Ireland To Top 10 Finish At European Cross Country Championships thumbnailTullamore Harriers athlete Liam Brady helped Ireland to a top 10 finish at the European Cross Country Championships last Sunday.

COOLDERRY native Liam Brady was part of the Ireland team that acquired a top 10 finish at the European Cross Country Championship in Chia, Italy last weekend.

The Tullamore Harriers club man came home in 62nd place overall but more importantly, his finish counted as the all important fourth score for the team to push them up into a top 10 spot.

Held in the south of Italy, Brady completed the 10,000m course in a time of 30.57 to be the fourth Irish man home.

Also at the championships, the Tullamore Harriers were represented by club Chairman John Cronin who was working as one of the International technical officials.
