Minor A Football Final

Inane Rovers defeated Nenagh Eire Og 5-11 to 0-7 and they now qualify for the final when they will play Borrisokane in the decider. Nenagh Eire og finished third with one win out of three games while Newport bring up the rear with no points. The top two reached the final.

 

Minor B Football Championship

Group 1: Kiladangan are through to the North Minor B football semi finals following their 1-13 to 3-7 draw with Lorrha Rovers at Puckane last Thursday evening. This means the final game between Lorrha Rovers and Silvermines has a winner takes all for a second place in the semi final. The game is planned for April 25th. Moneygall/Clonakenny have completed their programme but will finish fourth in the group.

Group 2: Both Kilruane MacDonaghs and Ballina will take their place in the semi finals without completing their round robin games. Ballinahinch/Templederry and Portroe are out of the championship.

 

Under-16 A Football

Last week in the North under-16 A Football grade Inane Rovers had a one point win in Kiladangan, Borris-Ileigh conceded a walkover to Ballinahinch/Templederry whilst Kilruane and Lorrha Rovers had a cracking 4-7 to 5-4 drawn game.

 

North Tipp Under-16 B Football

In B grade Newport v Silvermines was postponed, Moneygall/Clonakenny overcame Ballina whilst Burgess had a big win over Portroe.

 

The U-16 North semis in A and B are scheduled for 24th April with the North Final on 6th May. County semi finals are fixed for 24th June with the County Final on 15th July.
