FERBANE GAA's ballad group were triumphant in the GAA Scór Sinsear held in Castlebar's Royal Theatre last weekend. There was a huge cheer from the many supporters who travelled when "An Féar Bán" were announced as winners from the stage late on Saturday night.

Well done to Valene Greer, Sarah Kenny, Niamh Delaney, Avril Spain and Zoe Rooney on adding a senior Scór title to the junior one that they achieved a few short years ago.

The Ferbane quiz team and Birr figure dancers also competed very well but didn't manage to win.

Thank you to all the supporters who travelled from Offaly to support all the acts.

Finally as this is the last competition of the year, thanks to the cultural committee for their hard work during the year in organising both Junior and Senior Scor. Indeed 2019 proved to be a very successful year for Offaly Scor as they secured two Leinster and one All-Ireland titles in both Scor Na nOg and Scor Sinsir. It was great to see new clubs competing in Scor competitions in 2018/2019 and they look forward to even more participation from all clubs in 2019/2020 season.
